This is a .5 mile sole-access point provide to Wolf Laurel Community Property owners to access the A-T. The Trail Head Lodge has 4x4 transportation that accesses the parking lot from inside the community and 'hikes you on' to the A-T at Big Bald...of course, we can pick you up also..We will be standing at the Big Bald Mountain Geodetic Marker on the top just up from Sam's Gap based on right time/place pre-coordination...our 'section-hike' may be one that you look most forward to completing...A Zero Day at the TRAIL HEAD LODGE is like doing Nothing at All.... Meet us in person at the 2023 AT Kick-off event at Amicalola State Park....and let us hold you a spot at the LODGE....Hike HAPPY and Walk WELL!
