Day 148

12.1 miles to Guilder Pond, stay at Berkshire South Community Center. Crossed into Massachusetts!!! Today was gorgeous weather, cool in the morning, high mid 70s. We got lots of cool climbs and views today-Bear Mountain and Mount Everett. Coming down the final climb we met Snoopy who was doing trail magic with amazing burritos!! Since we were all there we decided to call it a little early and go get ice cream at SoCo Creamery. They had the most interesting flavors and so many options. Silverback asked if we felt guilty for eating ice cream and how we are doing the trail, we informed him that we don’t need that kind of negativity in our life. 🤣 The community center was very kind to let us use the bathrooms and tent on a nice flat area.
