Day 134

13.6 miles SOBO to High Point State Park. Today was a great day of hiking and wilderness. Started off flat through boardwalk and around a ?marsh? which was fun. So many flowers and birds and rabbits. Then… I SAW A BEAR AND 2 CUBS!!! She looked at me and then then they padded off into to woods and disappeared. It’s shocking how quiet they are and how quickly there was no trace of them. I also saw a chipmunk eating a berry, a groundhog. I did pop over to Unionville, NY and had a cold sparkling water and blondie. The trail was actually walkable and nice today, not full of rocks which made me so happy and let me enjoy it. Also going SOBO got to see all the folks which is always fun. The past few days have been really rough, so it was nice to have a good day and enjoy the trail.
