Day 124
14.4 miles from PA 183 to Port Clinton. Def I try cooler today with a high of 67. The trail started fine today, nice and reasonable. It got misty, then drizzly, then eventually full rain, which was annoying because it wasn’t supposed to start until much later. We are starting to get to more rocky sections.m, but also had some cruisy sections today. I did some “retro blazing” and followed a gravel road along the original AT for a couple of miles, then joined back for a steep descent. While I was walking in the rain I was grateful that my core was warm enough, I found wild blueberries, I did have my emergency poncho, that none of us have had any major problems. On the gravel path I chatted with Sonic about manager skills. He is carrying a pair of rings to do pull ups with-apparently he has a bet for $1000 with a friend that he will take them all the way to Katahdin. It was raining and I was so glad to see dog tag waiting at the bottom of the hill. We had Cracker Barrel and then back to the Pavillion and met Neutral and chatted with her for a bit before bedding down for the night.
