Day 123

Written on Jun 27th 2025 at 2:13 AM

16 mile catchup from PA 443 to Clark’s Valley Rd. Saw a lot of fun new flowers. There was a warning saying part of the trail was flooded by beavers-I didn’t get wet but was sad I didn’t get to see any of them. Most of the trail was really lovely today, I do love a ridge walk. Big shout out to the trail designers-it doesn’t show well in the picture but there are HUGE rocks above and below that have been moved to actually make a trail that we didn’t have to climb and scramble on. I might actually figure out which club it is and send them a nice email thanking them. It rained a little just before I finished but the timing was perfect and I got ot the end just as the tramily came back with ice cream!! We had Chinese buffet for dinner and slept in a pavilion with lightening bugs!
