Day 122

11 miles to PA 183. 1200 miles!!!!! 🎉🎉 Less than 1000 miles to go! Wild how it felt like it took us forever to get to 1000 miles and now counting down feels like it’s going to fly by! At this point we are doing about 100 miles every 8 days (it took us 17 days to do the first 100). Today wasn’t QUITE as hot as yesterday, at least to start, but still under a heat advisory so we had planned to do a shorter day and back to the hotel. Before we had left the hotel we saw Penguin!! Last time we really saw her was back in Erwin, and briefly at trail days. She had said she was going to be farther north, and then she is leaving to go back across the pond next month so I am super glad we got to see her!
