Day 118
22 mile slack to Sherwood Dr. The hike started off with 10 miles of hills and unnecessary rock climbs. Some were chest high on me, with weird ledges. I got stung in the leg by a hornet or wasp which really hurt and made hiking hard for a couple hours. Being slow sometimes pays off, I got trail magic from Short Cut, who has done 1300 miles of trail so far. Dogtag met us in Boiling Springs with cold drinks and fruit, then again a few miles down the trail-today was really hot and humid and that definitely helped in long stretches without water. The second half was the flattest section so far and glorious. I actually ran a good chunk of it. There was a little roadside stand that we got some ice cream after-great way to celebrate such a long day
