Day 106

14.6 to Jim and Molly Denton shelter. Our feet were back to normal which was very reassuring. Original mosey dropped us back off and was back on trail herself today a little south of us. We made it out of Shenandoah and the descent immediately was steep down and very rocky. Heard and then saw a swarm of bees. A thru hiker from 2013 named Herb was at a road crossing with cold drinks for trail Magic. Stopped at Mountain Home B&B to pick up a box which had literally just gotten delivered-trail magic again, since its delivery date was supposed to be a week ago. Lisa and Scott were so kind, even though we weren’t staying with them they served us lemonade and gave us cheese to pack out. We thought we only had 3 miles to the shelter but turned out it was 5. There was a decent climb but then the rest of the trail was lovely. This shelter is the best one so far, a cooking pavilion, solar shower. Front porch with Adirondack chairs, horse shoes and some landscaping. No one else showed up so the 3 of us could spread out
