Day 78

Zero at Four Pines. Rain didn’t start until mid morning which made me feel like we should have stayed out and hiked. But once it started it was heavy. Everyone who came in who did Dragons tooth said it was awful, they slipped and fell and had to go very slow, so I was glad that we were not out there. I read a little, updated spreadsheet, hung out with Jack the cat, Ellie Mae the dog and got to hold some chickens! old School, Goodwill, Cosmo and Tall Boy and othered were at the hostel. I admired Tall Boys attitude of “don’t let anyone take anything from you” and her excitement for the trail. She reminded me of Lucy, and I needed her energy today.
