19.9 slack pack. We will round up and say this is our first 20 mile day! We took advantage of a slack pack option from Twig, a long hike with a looooong ridge run which was mostly flat and made for a fairly easy day. Lots of pretty views into West Virginia and a ton of flowers up on the mountain. It’s amazing how much easier it is without 35 pounds. Hiking SOBO is fun-we got to see so many people.
