Day 56

Easter. 8.7 miles to Boots Off hostel. The first past of the hike was nice-down to Laurel Falls and along the river. Then a huge climb and a huge descent. Tramily means trail family or transient family. I decided Steady is our trail sister, but we have lots of trail cousins we see pretty frequently, so lots of them passed me today and got to chat down the trail. Boots Off is nice, they are very organized and were having free pizza for Easter, cupcakes and eggs around the hostel. Starfleet and Chicken are here-their son is visiting and going to hike with them for a few days, they invited us to share steak dinner which was delicious!
