Day 48

4.3 miles to Curley maple gap shelter. Steady took the ferry across, Sourpatch and I took a hostel shuttle around to skip cold and wet feet. The trail today was hard, more up and very rocky. We planned to go 10-13 since we took a zero yesterday, but when we got to the shelter it was pretty cold, and supposed to get colder as we went up in altitude so we decided to stay. The sun did come out so we were able to sit and enjoy some sunshine. Lots of people came up-Wren, Lion Man, Hannah, Hammerhead, The Kid and others to stay at the shelter, so it was a full house.
