Day 43

8.8 miles to hog back ridge shelter. Definitely had some rain and lightening in the early morning, but we were able to wake up later since it was a lower mile day. I started off pretty fast, the trail was easy with nice terrain. A couple good climbs, some new wildflowers. I had 3 bars of service so I face timed sisder who was with the parents for a few mins in the spooky fog. At camp we met Thunder Lizard who had a whole 90s style quiz about what album to listen to, and a guitar so he played a few songs which was a nice change of pace.
