Day 30

7.4 miles to double spring gap shelter. Easy start from camp, saw 4 deer from shelter that were super close. Easy day-felt great, reasonable inclines. Nice view from Siler bald. We also saw Rocky Top, it was cloudy initially but then as I came up and the Had some time to relax at the Siler bald shelter, came up to steady, sour patch and left field napping in the sun. Birria Ramen was AMAZING for dinner, then early to bed in the shelter since it’s cold and windy and planning to get up early to hike in the dark to catch sunrise from Clingmans Dome
