Day 24

9.1 miles to Brown Fork Gap. Climb up to Cheoah Bald to start but we were rewarded with great views! Made good time overall, had a very steep climb out of Stecoah Gap, but made it just fine. Got to hike with Steady for a while which was a delight. Penguin got off trail before the steep climb-lucky her! Ended with “mystery meat”… burgundy beef tips tacos which were fantastic! I can definitely tell I am getting stronger and more used to trail life, so making good progress!
