Day 17

8.5 miles to Rock Gap Shelter. Super steep climb to Albert Mountain and the 100 mile mark! Amazing views and a celebratory snickers bar to mark the occasion. Had lunch up there and I sat for a bit longer and got to watch the first butterfly I have seen since starting. Another day with beautiful weather and great hiking. I can’t tell if I am getting stronger or if the terrain is easier, but it’s been so nice the past couple of days feeling good and having nice weather to start and end the days.
