Day 3-first trail magic! Hawk Mtn Shelter to Gooch Gap Shelter. 7.7 miles. 60 degrees and sunny. Up & over sassafras mountain- pretty steep climb but on the other side we had trail magic with Fresh Grounds Leapfrog Cafe. An AMAZING grilled cheese and salad and Gatorade, got to wash my hands and charge my phone. He does this every year and is trail famous!! So very kind. Definitely gave some motivation for the rest of the miles
