Day 140

Hiked from Ten Mile River Shelter to CT 341 in Kent, CT where Barbie picked me up. Beautiful weather and smooth hiking trail initially by Ten mile River which was running high and flowed into the Housatonic River. Entered NY again I think briefly. Walked up Indian Rocks with nice views. Barbie was a dream as everyone had stated on Guthook. Actually did my laundry at the laundromat while I had lunch. Kent was booming with people from NYC. As Barbie puts it metropolitan art with large pieces of work thru out the town. Fancy Kent Prep School. Resupplied she gave me a tour and history of the town. Her home is lovely. I bought a steak for dinner and cooked it on her grill. She made a salad and dessert. Her home/farm was beautiful.Tomorrow she will make me breakfast and drop me back on the trail.
