Day 104

Written on Jun 18th 2021 at 7:07 AM

6/17/21 It was a little chilly last night for a change. Weather today was perfect sunny skies temps in the low -mid 70’s with a light breeze. On the way to Annapolis rocks so I’ll workers from the Potomac Appalachian Trail club working on the trail and that something I should do when I get back to New Hampshire. The trail was perfect. Annapolis rocks was beautiful as was Blackrock cliffs. Trail was intermittently smooth and then quite rocky. Relatively flat until the last section climbing up to the Raven rock Shelter which was quite busy and I set up a tent. Unfortunately the water supply I was going to get prior to reaching the shelter was dry so I had to walk 0.3 miles each way just to get water. Lots of cicadas which I admire. Saw holes where the cicadas come out of the ground. Lots of different plants/trees identified on I naturalist. Will be heading into Pennsylvania tomorrow
