On Hold

I have decided to delay my thru hike until the end of April. Perhaps even switch to a southbound (SOBO) if I have to delay it even longer. Most likely I will need to cancel the trip altogether, but for now I will wait and see how the world looks in five weeks. When a sense of normalcy has returned and organizations like the ATC have eased their concerns then I will re-evaluate. I will not be part of the problem out there.

I know a lot of people are struggling to make rent on April first, so it feels insensitive to discuss budgeting for a luxury trip at the moment. Now that I have more time, I will continue these tips and suggestions at a later time. Until then please stay safe, stay indoors, and keep washing your hands.
