Day 117

Vegas/driving zero

Woke up around 8:30am. Longest I’ve ever slept in omg. I woke up to hear Caleb’s voice and then getting ready and immediately panicked as I thought they were about to leave. Our room was so dark that which was so nice as it allowed me to sleep in. Not really though as we didn’t get back and in bed until 2:30am. It was sad saying goodbye to the one person I’ve basically hiked with since day 1. He is at peace with it though and that’s all that matters. Rocklicker took him to the airport as we said our last goodbyes. We rotted until it was time for us to start and pack up. We dropped our stuff off in Marc’s room and headed out to breakfast which quickly flopped as it was a 30 minute wait. Instead we went to this Asian breakfast place which was delicious but expensive. I went with a traditional Asian dish but can’t remember what it’s called. Delicious tho but again, I’m doing a horrible job at finishing food nowadays. I wanted to try this bakery next door which had mochi beignets. I also got a mochi covered mango which was the best thing I’ve tasted in awhile. The mango was so juicy. Klara and I saw this tweet that basically said mangoes are so lucky that they have an inconvenient large seed in them or I would be doing diabolical things to that fruit and I felt that on a holy level with this mango. Once we got back to the hotel we hit the road. I got to show off some of my great music taste (lol that ones for you emma) before we switched to a podcast. We drove for about 7 hours and again, it was all rocklicker as his name is under he car title. We stopped a couple of times but pretty much drove straight through the unholy land of neveda. We ended going to chipotle for dinner which we ate at the motel that Klara booked. We watched dodge ball which I immediately fell asleep to. I woke up to my stomach GURGLING. I went to the bathroom and not to be too graphic but it was straight liquid. Immediately texted dad to make sure I didn’t have Giardia which he said I didn’t thankfully. I would piss shit a couple more times that night. So nasty. Real food doesn’t agree with me anymore omg. Literally took not one pic from this day. Nothing exciting anyways.
