Day 87

I hiked 25 miles today. Before I started hiking this morning I found a tick on my knee I don’t know how it got there cause I have pants all the time but anyway the tick was partially into my skin when I found this morning it kinda scared me at first. I had no idea what to do but thankfully there was a older guy at the shelter who knew what he was doing so he pulled the tick out and got some weeds or I think he called it plantain and he said to put that on so hopefully that helps and I don’t get sick or anything like that. There was a trail stand today it was just a little shed with a refrigerator and some snacks but I got two Gatorade’s some m&ms and a ice cream sandwich a good stop and rest spot. The house looked super cool cause it looks like they built a house onto a barn or maybe they built the barn onto the house?‍♂️ anyway I thought it looked pretty nice but that’s my opinion. Also I think I forgot to say I’m in Massachusetts now. I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
