Day 79

I hiked 24.1 miles today. The day started out really good I hiked 9.7 miles in the first 3 hours which is a really good pace for hiking. It wasn’t quite 10 miles before 10 but it was close. The trail went into New York for a little bit today but came back into New Jersey but in New York there was a really nice little trail magic place it was just 2 little benches and a ice cooler with drinks in it and pretzels it was really nice. I walked through a bunch of swamp land today. One of the swampy areas there was raised grass path beside it then the next swampy area there was a boardwalk for almost a mile going through the swamp it was pretty sweet and easy hiking. I saw four snakes today a record day. I stopped at a place really close to the trail that had ice cream and drinks and donuts so that was a nice stop. Yeah I’m lookin forward to tomorrow.
