Day 75

I hiked 17.5 miles today. It was a good ease back into it day after a lot of really short days without my pack. There were some pretty sketchy parts on the trail today. I went over a place called knifes edge it kinda lived up to its name it dropped off on one side and steep slanted stone slabs on the other side that was fun kinda. There was a section of trail today up on top of the ridge just before the shelter I’m at that reminded me almost of what I imagine the African safari to look like. Tall green grass or in this case tall green ferns and the trees kinda spread out and some of them dead with only a few branches, it was cool trail. I’m gonna push a couple long days next 2 days so we’ll see if I can make it. I’m looking forward to it.
