Well I zeroed today I went to church, had lunch with the fam, watch frisbee, hung out with friends, had supper with my family, and hung out with cousins a well rounded zero day. I’m probably gonna get back on trail sometime tomorrow afternoon I’m looking forward to it.

I hiked 7.4 miles today. Today was great I got to watch the rest of brubaker frisbee playoffs and I got sun burnt pretty bad that’s alright I’ll survive. I saw a rattle snake about 2 miles after I started hiking it was kinda scary cause I didn’t see it until it started rattling and I was like 5 feet from it by then. So after contemplating my options I decided I should probably go around it. The thing was it steep down on my left and steep up on my right so I decided to climb up and around the snake after I recovered from the shock of getting rattled at for what felt like a couple minutes. After I went around it the rattlesnake started slither right on down the trail I didn’t want to get to close because it would still rattle at me when I tried. That was one of the most eventful 7.4 miles I’ve ever done. And done over exaggerate the size of the snake it might have been 3 feet probably a little less and it was as thick as my forearm so it wasn’t massive. It was cool to hear the rattle though after I recovered. I’m lookin forward to tomorrow.
