Day 95

I’m glad I spent the zero yesterday. It was good to rest and I talked to others who had hiked that day and they said the rain was miserable. Add on that, we were under a tornado warning as well. I just rested and devoured a taco pizza. Today when going down to the hotel lobby to wait for my shuttle to trail, I bumped into Zipper. Hasn’t seen him in a while. He caught my shuttle and we both headed back to trail and hiked together. Not much to really add. It was a good day with nice weather, decent climbs but nothing bad, no grand views but a pleasant trail section. Tomorrow I’ll be celebrating hitting 1,000 and continue on finally out of VA, the longest State on the trail.
