Day 67

I hiked 17.7 miles today. It was a very nice short day, beautiful weather, it was cool all day at least compared to the last couple days. I started out late leaving the quality inn at 10:15 but I still got to Duncannon by 5:30. Today is the first day I’ve town hopped I’m staying in the basement of a building beside a church that lets hiker sleep here it’s a spacious basement nothing to fancy but I’m definitely not going to complain. I started out the day with about 5 miles of more flat farm land then the small mountains came again. But Pennsylvania elevation wise is very easy it’s pretty much just a climb then a long flat and very rocky ridge walk then go down and back up and put that on repeat. It’s gets a little monotonous doing that over and over again but that’s all right it’s just part of it. I saw two snakes today one little one then a bigger black snake but wow that’s three days in a row I’ve seen snakes, nice. I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
