Day 18 - Joshua Inn

Gorgeous day, Tim hit 300, I hit 240 which is my longest distance ever! Since is skipped 60 miles I’m tracking my cumulative miles, but the milestones still feel good ?.

We hit a hot springs today in the morning and got beers and peanut butter cookies from some cheery nudists. A six mile stretch through the canyon with no break spots or shade had us down, but we were happy to take a two hour break at the Joshua Inn/Pub in Hesteria. We got a few snacks here and Tim had a few beers and this pick me up got us four more miles to the next water source/camp spot.

Overall a good day, very mellow hiking continued.
