Day 37

I hiked 13.3 miles today in wonderful weather. A high of 79 made it a little warm so I sweated a lot but that’s alright, I’ll take that over snow and high wind. I started out the day going into town to resupply for the next long section. It went well I may have gotten a little to much so my pack weighs more than it should but I’ll have to deal with it. I had subway for lunch then after hiking 11.5 miles there was a restaurant right next to the trail so I stopped there for supper. I had a chicken Caesar wrap with Mac and cheese which was really good. Today is the first day I hiked multiple miles with a group of people. I was at the same shelter as them last night and then came out of town at about the same time this afternoon so I hiked with them for the remainder of the day and had supper with them at the restaurant. Now I’m at the same campsite and will probably go to the same place as them tomorrow but we’ll see what happens. I’m looking forward to a longer day tomorrow.
