Day 35

I hiked 22.2 miles today. I felt a lot better today hiking than I did yesterday. I passed the 500 mile marker, super hyped about that. There were a lot of wild ponies close to the trail today, they would come really close to me. There were 2 people in front of me who almost got kicked by one but they were petting it from behind so what do you expect. It rained for a little bit today but otherwise it was a nice hiking day. Not to warm but not freezing either about 55 degrees that’s about right. I had started out the day with a almost 2000 foot climb which was a good warm up but the rest of the day was relatively easy. I’m hoping to do about the same tomorrow.
