I hiked 17 miles today. It was overall a pretty good day it went pretty fast. It was cloudy all day but sun came out a little bit and no rain so that’s good. There was a pine wood forest on top of a mountain, it looked really cool. Green moss everywhere, pine needle trails it was pretty nice. There was a little American flag sitting along side the trail, that’s kinda random but I thought it was sweet. The climb was long but it was not as physical draining as I thought it would be. I had pancakes or hot cakes, from McDonald’s, this morning for the first time in a long time. They were so good even though they were from McDonald’s. Good times. There were some nice views today and I passed some trail magic without knowing it but that’s alright. I’m doing roan mountain tomorrow which I’ve heard is pretty hard so that should be fun. Lookin forward to it.
