Day 2

What a day. The day started off cold and only got colder. No sunshine at all and the wind picked up. Little bit of snow came down. Didn’t want to stop hiking because it was the only thing keeping me warm. Bad weather coming in. That being said I felt amazing today. I felt like a machine.

Anvil only got one hour of sleep last night because it was his first time using his hammock and he didn’t do it right. He’s usually way faster than me but today I was in front and that made me feel even stronger and gave me more motivation.

Max goes low and slow like old Cadillac but he’s never actually far behind. He’s taken to hiking like a fish to water. I’m really proud of him. I hope he makes it the whole way.

Anyways we made it to Coopers Gap and called a shuttle to get in to town real quick to grab some more warm weather gear and a little more food. Dined on dominos and got warm finally.
