Day 2

Hiked 5.1 miles today (according to my Garmin watch) from the Lodge at Amicalola Falls along the Len Foote trail to the Hike Inn. It started off cold and foggy but as soon as we were moving, we heated up quickly and had to strip off extra layers. We took our time hiking the trail and made a pace just under 2 miles an hour. (Had plenty of water breaks and stopped to talk to some other hikers. Sitting at the Hike Inn now absorbing the views. I can get used to this!

Edit: Sorry, I give up. I keep getting duplicate pictures instead of others I’ve tried to upload. Sorry for duplicates. This app doesn’t seem to like you editing by removing images and then loading more.

Edit Edit: Think I got it now. Phew! Very touchy. Any friends who are following this on the website, sorry, I don’t think the subscribed notifications are emailing anyone. I’m hearing nothing is coming thru. Just check the page every 3 to 4 days and I’ll try to update by then.
