Day 78

After almost no sleep I woke at 6 and we made our way to the gas station. We made sure to talk loudly around the tent who were jerks to us and their dog barked to wake them so we felt good. We walked out of the campground and to a gas station where we bought coffee and snacks. Little Bag and Orange Slice came to pick us up. We hit the trail just after 8am and it was already far too hot.

I pushed 9 miles and took a break. I pushed another 5 or so and felt very tired. We had another 8.5 to go and I felt exhausted. The views were pretty and all but I was beat from lack of sleep. The four of us camped together tonight. I had to walk .3 down a dirt road and collect water from a Culvert. We sat and chatted and had some dinner and laughs. It was nice to be around people again.
