Day 70

Today we woke early and had breakfast at the restaurant. We tried to leave early but had to wait for the 10am shuttle. We got to the trailhead and started up the climb. I was able to get service for the first time in a long time and made some phone calls. The thunderstorm was headed our way so we made it about 9 miles and set up camp and waited out the rain. Eventually we decided just to stay the night since the rain was persistent.
