Happy birthday Rick!!
Started from walker campground and headed up, up, up. Soon passed by Viking and Sunrise - as expected. We met them again at the stream where everyone was loading up on water because of the long dry stretch ahead. Big miserable climb and Rick carried 8 liters of water. He said he was not going to go thirsty on his birthday! Afternoon thunderstorm was a nice relief. We stopped at the top of the pass where there was level ground and found a nice campsite, except for crazy amount of ants! Tired from long hot climb at the end of the day.
