Day 24

Written on May 17th 2021 at 7:00 AM

Today I woke around 5 after a sleepless night. I climbed for hours in the cold misty clouds. Eventually the sun broke and I was above the clouds. The climb wasn’t steep but was so long. Like 17 miles long. I only breaked twice shortly. For the first time, I think, I was able to do 10 miles by 9:30. I was moving really quickly.

I pushed and pushed and pushed and made it to highway 2 by 2:30. It was 22 miles in. I hitched to town and reunited with Boujee and Thin Mint. I stayed the night with them. We had dinner with Kemo and Benihana and crashed. Tomorrow we are figuring out the mess around the closure.
