I fly out on Tuesday the 2nd from Boston to Georgia, and will start the approach trail Wednesday morning at Amicalola Falls State park. The base weight of my pack is around 14 pounds and around 27lbs with 4 days of food, 2 liters of water, and fuel for my stove. Very excited to get started!
