Day 87: Sarver Hollow Shelter

Written on Jun 22nd 2015 at 12:00 AM

Today was a nice day. We got out of camp late in the day after Eli took forever getting ready. We hiked and then napped for about three hours at the first shelter and then pushed on with multiple stops until it was dark. We took some very long switchbacks 0.4mi down to Sarver Hollow Shelter and it was empty so we set up our tents inside it. It’s a very nice shelter. Probably because it’s so far off the trail. I’m having a really fun night hanging here with them.

I'm starting to have stomach issues again and I'm worried about it messing up my trip again.
