Great history in Harpers Ferry and the folks at the ATC were stupendous. Lodging is pricey for motels / hotels and there aren't a lot of options unless you go a bit of a ways out of town. If you are trying to not spend a ton Stony Brook Organic Farm is a donation based place about 5 miles up the road from the WV / VA state line. Restaurants abound but there's not a grocery store for a solid resupply. The outfitter in HF does have Mountain House options and a few other things.

Such an amazing town. The people at the ATC are saints, and they take care of you really well. Great restaurant and lodging choices both in and just out of town. It's gorgeous, and there are unique and neat things to see.

Not really a hiker town, but still a great historical town.

A super awesome town on the trail. You can’t miss it since the trail goes directly through it but it’s worth spending time there. It’s a very historic town. We stayed over the river in Maryland and got an easy hitch into town.

Gorgeous town, wish we spent more time. Resupply was a 7-11 and not much else, but its a place we want to go back to.
