My knees stopped hurting after switching to zero drop shoes, so I'm going to try hiking each PCT ~500 mile region for the next five summers. I haven't done a multi night trip in decades, but my training and 20 mile shake down hikes worked ok. Finally putting that Ray Jarine book I purchased in the 1990s to use.
I've got my hike posted in OneNote. Hikerfeed has been such a disappointment. I signed in to make sure everything was ready to go and then I couldn't log in while on the trail. Once I got back to Wi-Fi I logged in automatically. Hikerfeed is overly structured so you can't go back and fill in content later. Also, there's not a way to get used to the program until your on the trail and then if anything goes wrong it's too late.
