I am a recently retired psychiatric nurse practitioner who is very excited to be venturing out on to the AT 3/2/19 with my wonderful husband. I am looking forward to listening to the trees and birds. I am hiking with loving memories of my oldest son Capt Joel Gentz who was KIA In Afghanistan in 2010. He loved backpacking and some of my best family memories are of our backpacking trips.
