I am going to be hiking the Appalachian Trail. Starting in March near Springer Mountain GA I will be trekking over 2000 miles to summit Katahdin Mountain in Maine. Along the way I hope to make friends on the trail but also I am reaching out to over 100 Episcopal churches that are within driving distance of AT. My hope is to be able to stop in on a few churches and talk about the future of our Church and our position as lay people. When the prophets sought God it was not in the city nut in the wilderness.
