I would love to become a thru hiker, and what better place to start than in my home state of Arizona. There is a sense of accomplishment with every hike I go on, so I can only imagine what it is like to complete a thru hike. I plan on section hiking some parts of the trail close to me, but really want to do the whole thing in one go.
