1st Zero day

Woke up late aka the regular time we get up, 5:20am and sat in bed aka my tent/pad till 6:30ish. Started packing up despite us literally hanging around until the post office opens up. Doomed scrolled for way to long as well as scrolled reels to make up up the rotting of brain I missed out on while on trail with no service. We camped at the 49er saloon and then loitered at the 49er saloon all day. We got lunch at an italian, Asian, American, Mexican place which is a crazy combo. We spend so much time together that at lunch truly it was boring. Headed back to the 49er saloon to wait and doom scroll some more before trey!!! Picked us up. Trey was so sweet to come out of his way aka only 40ish minutes to come hang with me for such a short amount of time. He picked us up and we did some errands aka trying to get me new shoes. Nothing in this stupid town of Lancaster which was way off trail but that’s where our Airbnb was. What a useless suburban town. After we scrounged around for shoes and came up empty handed we headed to the Airbnb. Like all Airbnbs it looks nice until you see the quality of the place. Shit. But it’s okay bc it was cheap. After showering (trey said he lost nose hairs and I was burning his nose but I wanted him to get the full experience so I marinated when I could’ve had a shitty shower at the 49er saloon) we headed to dinner which was a Mexican restaurant. So good and got a weak margarita. Headed to the Airbnb and watched conclave with the gang and trey. Missed trey so much and it was nice to have someone from home on trail. Hope to see him soon. Got to also call Emma, camille, and emily throughout the day which was very much needed. I love them and miss them so much. Truly my rocks. But that pretty much covers the first zero day!
