Day 66. 8.8 miles to Settlers Museum camping. We went into Marion, VA to resupply at Walmart and Ingles. Being in a store feels overwhelming now. There was a Chinese buffet in the same shopping center so we hit that for lunch. Late Start joined us and the shop owner was delighted that he spoke Chinese. A trail angel offered us a ride back up the mountain so we could get back on trail a bit earlier than the bus. It did rain a bit today, but not for too long. We were going to stop at the shelter but sour patch and I decided to push a little farther to decrease our miles tomorrow. The VA settlers museum has a nice big picnic pavilion, restrooms with flush toilets and sinks and a large field to camp in. We made tacos for dinner and then a lovely local lady name Brenda came and chatted with us for a while. Fell asleep to the sounds of frogs on the creek
