Day 22. 10.7 miles to A Rufus Morgan Shelter. It snowed overnight and started cold and windy, kept me in the sleeping bag longer than it should have. Hiking up to Wessex Bald was a bit of a climb, but nice view. There was some very sketchy and sheer descent over some rocks, definitely the most technical hiking we have done so far. Lots of blowdowns on the trail, but at hiker breakfast we met a trail maintainer so we have been reporting back. I got into camp as sunset happened, so I didn’t have to hike in the dark which was my goal.
