Crazy we’re at 100 days now. No pictures from this stretch. I had my phone away and was enjoying the days off. The 25th, we did nothing relating to the PCT. Mackenzie’s parents took us to a winery to do a tasting. It was a cool experience as I’ve never been to a winery before. Unfortunately, I don’t have the palette to notice the difference between wines, but nonetheless, I enjoyed the grape juice.
Afterwards, we went to the air and space museum to see a memorial to one of Mr. Shinnick’s friend and then headed to a tapas place nearby. It was an awesome day.
Once back in Portland, we watched some TV and headed to bed.
The next day was all PCT. After breakfast, we went to resupply, grab some gear, shipped packages, and picked up some packages we shipped. It took about six hours. After all was said and done, we drove back to Cascade Locks to set up camp. We met back up with Bastian and Jordan at camp. They seem to be doing great and now have a new tent - even more room for them.
We’re camped and ready to get back out on trail to conquer the last state on the PCT.
Happy campers…
