A full zero today… we woke up around 8 and had no intentions to do anything more than necessary.

I ate some leftover pizza, headed to a coffee shop, walked over to the gear store, and grabbed my resupply. Wrightwood is such a small town it made it so easy to knock out all our chores quickly and efficiently. We then sat on our couch and lounged for hours. It was wonderful.

After letting our stomaches make room for dinner, we grabbed some actual vegetables and steaks from the grocery store and cooked them on the grill at our cabin. Our bodies and souls thanked us for that meal.

Aside from that, it was a fairly uneventful day. I’m excited to try out my new shoes tomorrow and see if my feet and Achilles get some relief. For now, one more sleep in a real bed.
