Today we woke up early and got going by 7:30. We passed the boys we know. They still hadn’t started packing up. We hiked for a while then got to a stream where a lot of people started showing up. We met a guy named Trippy Jesus who had hiked the PCT in 2018. He looked like Jesus and his name was so fitting. Then this guy who I know from Instagram showed up too. Small world. I knew he was on the trail but he was way ahead of me before. We headed down trail some more and there were lots of cows. Then the trail turned into an awful rocky dirt road that hurt our legs. We took a half mile trail down to a lake called Lake Baldy for water because there wasn’t water for another 15ish miles. Everybody else had the same idea so there were a lot of people there. And it was WINDY.
